Chelsea may have to cope without Mason Mount for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Lille at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The England international suffered an ankle injury during the Club World Cup, and Thomas Tuchel will most likely spare him for the meeting with Liverpool in the EFL Cup final, despite his claims that he might make the squad.
Reece James and Ben Chilwell are also set to remain absent, and Tuchel also has fresh concerns over Callum Hudson-Odoi and Cesar Azpilicueta - both of whom are nursing knocks.
The latter could be fit enough to take his place on the right-hand side, though, which would allow Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to start in front of Edouard Mendy.
James would potentially have been an option for this game had he not come down with the flu, but Marcos Alonso will surely come back in on the left after claiming a late assist for Hakim Ziyech's winner against Crystal Palace.
Mateo Kovacic could provide some fresh legs in midfield alongside Jorginho if N'Golo Kante's fitness is to be carefully managed, with Tuchel maybe already having one eye on Sunday's domestic final.
Ziyech and Kai Havertz should keep their places in the final third, but seven-touch Romelu Lukaku may very well drop to the bench for Timo Werner after a poor showing at Selhurst Park.
Chelsea possible starting lineup: Mendy; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Ziyech, Havertz; Werner
