Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will be available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
The £97.5m summer arrival had emerged as a doubt for the contest after picking up a minor thigh problem while representing Belgium during the international break.
However, speaking during Friday's pre-match press conference, Tuchel revealed that the striker had trained the last two days with no issues and would therefore be available to face Villa.
"He came back two days ago. He trained yesterday and today no problem at all," Tuchel told reporters.
Lukaku, who returned to Chelsea from Inter Milan over the summer, has scored once in his two Premier League appearances at the start of the 2021-22 campaign.
The Blues will be looking to record their third Premier League victory of the season when they welcome Dean Smith's side to the English capital this weekend.
