Antonio Conte: 'Chelsea must remain disciplined against Arsenal'

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte "hopes to finish the game with 11 players" against Arsenal after having men sent off in the last two competitive outings between the sides.

Antonio Conte has urged his Chelsea players to keep their cool in this weekend's London derby showdown with Arsenal if they are to have any chance of winning.

The Blues have fallen to successive competitive defeats against the Gunners, losing 2-1 in last season's FA Cup final and on penalties in the Community Shield last month.

Chelsea had a man sent off in both of those games, with Victor Moses and Pedro each seeing red, and Conte admits that keeping a full selection of players on the pitch at Stamford Bridge on Sunday is key to his side's hopes of success.

"I hope to finish the game with 11 players because in the last two games, the FA Cup final and the Community Shield, we finished with 10," he told reporters.

"For sure when you start the game, you try to keep the right discipline but in both situations, you have to see if there was a red card or not."

Chelsea have won each of their last five home meetings against Arsenal, including a 3-1 victory in their last league encounter seven months ago.
