Frank Lampard expects Chelsea improvement

Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard believes that the team can get better this season.

Frank Lampard has insisted that there is still room for improvement for Chelsea in the Premier League this season.

The Blues moved to within four points of leaders Arsenal on Saturday with a comfortable 3-0 win at West Ham United.

Despite four victories in their last six matches, Lampard believes that the team can get better in the coming weeks.

"Saturday's win was how we want to play. That's the benchmark," he told the club's official website.

"I think there's room for improvement with us and we will do that because we're aspiring every day to improve.

"As long as we do that and show performances like the one on Saturday then we will do well."

Lampard scored twice against his former club West Ham to take his tally to four goals this season.
