John Obi Mikel believes that Chelsea need to take all three points from their game against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

John Obi Mikel has said that Chelsea must secure three points in their match against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

The Stamford Bridge side will be looking to cement their place in the top four ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham's clash on Sunday.

The Nigerian told Chelsea's official website: "West Brom is a big game for us, we have to make sure we go out there and put on a good performance to get the three points.

"Obviously Arsenal and Tottenham are playing on Sunday so they have a difficult derby and one of those teams will drop points, but we can't afford to worry about that.

"We have our own job to do and we're focused on beating West Brom and getting three points. We're then in a strong position and can sit back and watch that on Sunday."

When the sides met at The Hawthorns earlier in the season, the Baggies took a 2-1 win over Chelsea.
