Fernando Torres admits that he is not sure why he isn't displaying his form he showed for Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has admitted that he does not know the reason behind his stuttering form for the club.

The striker, who has endured two different years at the Blues since his £50m from Liverpool in January 2011, said that he is not exactly sure why he has struggled to find the form that persuaded the London club to break the Premier League transfer record to land him.

"If I knew the reason, I would fix it. The only way is to work at it," Torres told the Daily Mail.

"I want to do the things I used to do all my life. I did them at Atletico Madrid, I did them at Liverpool and I am not doing them at Chelsea. I am working on it.

"I know my statistics have not been the same at Chelsea as other years in my career, but I am fighting to get those statistics back up and I will never give up. I will try my heart out for this club."

The Spaniard recently ruled out a move back to Atletico.
