West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has labelled reports that Chelsea could sign Aaron Cresswell this summer as "pure rumours".
Recent reports have claimed that the Hammers would be willing to sell the left-back for £20m.
However, Allardyce has insisted that no club has come in for the 25-year-old, and he is making sure that the player focuses on the final five games of the season.
"As far as I'm concerned, nobody has bid for Aaron Cresswell, so it's pure rumours that has to fill the media space," Allardyce told reporters in this morning's press conference.
"It's for me to make sure that Aaron continues to do what he has done all season, which is perform on a consistent basis. He has to continue to work as hard as he can, not rest on his laurels and build on the impressive year he's had."
When recently asked about the speculation, Cresswell insisted that he is "very happy" at West Ham.
