Chelsea lining up shock move for Manchester City keeper Joe Hart?

A report claims that Chelsea are contemplating a £5m move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois.

Manchester City outcast Joe Hart is on Chelsea's shortlist of options to replace Thibaut Courtois, according to a report.

The Blues are bracing themselves for an offer from Real Madrid for their number one, who has constantly refused to play down talk of a move away this summer.

Chelsea may have just a couple of weeks to bring in a new goalkeeper, and The Sun claims that Hart is therefore under consideration, despite being shipped out on loan by City in successive seasons.

New manager Maurizio Sarri is said to be weighing up a £5m raid for the England international, with the former Torino and West Ham United loanee also boosting Chelsea's homegrown players count.

Speaking on Friday, Pep Guardiola revealed that Hart will feature in the first of the Citizens' pre-season friendlies against Borussia Dortmund.
