Chelsea have announced that academy graduate Tino Anjorin has penned a new five-year contract.
Before football was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, the midfielder was handed his Premier League debut in the 4-0 victory over Everton, adding to his substitute outing against Grimsby Town earlier in the season.
Despite the prospect of the Blues signing numerous high-profile names in the summer, the 18-year-old has opted to agree fresh terms with the West Londoners, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2025.
Speaking to the club's official website, Anjorin said: "It's a brilliant feeling. I've been at the club since I was six years old so to get to this stage and then be offered another five-year contract on top of that is amazing.
"I had no hesitation but to take it straight away because to play for the club I always dreamed of playing for is really special for me."
Anjorin will hope to feature in the squad when Chelsea return to action against Aston Villa on June 20.
