Chelsea have reportedly yet to schedule contract talks with Ashley Cole, despite the defender having entered the final year of his contract.
Cole, who has been at the club for six years, was a key member of the squad that triumphed in both the FA Cup and Champions League.
However, Chelsea have not offered the 31-year-old a new deal and The Mirror suggests that Cole may decide to run his contract down.
Due to FIFA rules, Cole would be allowed to speak to other clubs in December, if his contract has not been renewed.
The England international has made 250 appearances during his time at Chelsea.
