Danny Drinkwater 'to consider Chelsea future'

Danny Drinkwater will consider his Chelsea future at the end of the season, according to a report.

Danny Drinkwater will reportedly consider his Chelsea future at the end of the season.

The England midfielder joined the Blues from Leicester City last summer, but has only made five Premier League starts during a frustrating 2017-18 campaign.

A troublesome calf issue meant that Drinkwater was unable to play until the end of October, and he has not turned out for the Blues since the defeat at Manchester City at the start of March.

According to The Guardian, Drinkwater is unhappy with life at Stamford Bridge, and the 28-year-old could decide to leave the club in this summer's transfer window.

A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be closely monitoring developments surrounding the three-time England international.
