Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Barcelona youngster Gavi, amid interest from Chelsea and Liverpool also.
The 17-year-old has made his mark in the senior side at Camp Nou this season, scoring once and providing three assists in 16 La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants.
Gavi also featured in all six of Barcelona's Champions League group stage matches this campaign, and that has given him a lot of experience for a player of his age.
Manchester Evening News reports that Pep Guardiola is looking to recruit the teenager from his former club, but Man City will have to fend off competition from Premier League title rivals Liverpool and Chelsea.
Barcelona will be looking to sell Gavi for an 'astronomical' figure according to the report, as Barca are in a desperate financial situation whereby they need to make room in order to register new signing Ferran Torres.
Ronald Koeman handed Gavi his first-team debut at Camp Nou in August and he has gone on to make 22 appearances for Xavi's side.
