Radamel Falcao heading back to Monaco?

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao's loan spell with Chelsea will come to an end in January, according to a report in France.

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao will reportedly return to his parent club Monaco at the start of next month.

The 29-year-old was loaned out to Premier League outfit Chelsea during the summer on a season-long agreement.

However, the frontman has been unable to make a significant impact in West London, having made just two starts and scored one goal in the blue shirt.

As a result, his stint will be cut short and Falcao will instead spend the remainder of the campaign in Ligue 1, according to L'Equipe.

The report adds that the ex-Manchester United loanee may then look to continue his career in the MLS.
