Slaven Bilic reveals that he will step down as Croatia boss following Euro 2012.

Slaven Bilic has revealed that he will step down as Croatia manager following this summer's European Championships.

The former West Ham defender has been in charge of the nation since 2006 and masterminded their Euro 2008 qualifying success, which came at the expense of Steve McLaren's England side.

During his six-year tenure, the 43-year-old has been linked with a variety of Premier League jobs and he has hinted that he is now ready to test himself in club management.

"I will conclude my story (as Croatia coach) with the Euro. This is my last championship," he said.

"The main job is ahead of us. I don't think about what will happen afterwards but only about this big, sacred goal."

Bilic earlier named his 27-man provisional squad for the tournament, which includes Tottenham Hotspur's Luka Modric and Everton's Nikica Jelavic.
