Tony Pulis accepts Crystal Palace defeat

Tony Pulis concedes that Crystal Palace lost to the better team following Sunday's 2-0 defeat against Manchester City.

Tony Pulis has admitted that Crystal Palace were beaten by the better team following Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.

Edin Dzeko and Yaya Toure were among the goals for City as they came away with the points from Selhurst Park.

Despite seeing his side's five-match winning run come to an end, Pulis has told his players not to let the defeat affect them.

"Let's be fair, Man City is a club that's the most expensive team in sport in the world. For them to come here and win 2-0 you have to take it on the chin and get on with it," he told the club's official website. "But, the players shouldn't worry about that too much."

Palace continue their Premier League campaign on May 5 when they entertain title-chasing Liverpool.
