New Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has reportedly set his sights on signing Celtic attacker Ryan Christie.
The Scotland international's contract in Glasgow is due to expire in six months, despite that being an uncommon time of year for a player's deal to run out, meaning that Christie is available for a reduced price this summer.
Christie joined Celtic in 2015 and, between loan spells back to Inverness and Aberdeen, he remains a key figure in the Hoops team, making 46 appearances last season.
According to the Daily Record, Vieira has made Christie his top priority signing at Selhurst Park, after he was impressed with the attacking midfielder in Europa League games against Rennes in 2019.
French outfit Nice are long-term admirers of Christie and the club did have a bid rejected last summer, but they are expected to not give up in their pursuit of the Scotsman.
In total, Christie has scored 40 goals and registered 41 assists in 142 appearances for Celtic.
