Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara has insisted that the club will not sell key forward Nadir Ciftci to Celtic unless his asking price is met.
The Turkish striker, who is now in the last year of his contract, recently turned down a move to Wigan Athletic and is also thought to have been the subject of two rejected bids from the Hoops.
"The club hasn't accepted anything from Celtic for him to go and speak to them," said McNamara, according to The Express.
"He has turned down Wigan and the other offers haven't been enough for us to let him speak to anyone. Nadir understands what is happening."
Ciftci has made 64 appearances for United, scoring 23 goals for the club.
