England climb up to sixth spot in world rankings

England shuffle up one spot to sixth in the FIFA world rankings ahead of this month's European Championships.

England have moved up to sixth place in the FIFA world rankings, with Spain clear at the top of the list.

The Three Lions have climbed up one place, while Uruguay, who won the Copa America last summer, have replaced Germany in second spot.

Brazil have progressed into fifth place, while Argentina and Denmark occupy seventh and ninth in the rankings respectively.

Meanwhile, Portugual have slipped five places into 10th ahead of this month's European Championships with the Republic of Ireland retaining 18th spot in the list.
