Marco Silva praises Theo Walcott's performances for Everton so far in his side's opening three Premier League games.

Marco Silva has praised Theo Walcott's performances for Everton so far in the Toffees' first campaign under the new manager.

Walcott has scored twice and grabbed an assist in his side's opening three Premier League fixtures, while the former Arsenal forward had a goal ruled out against Southampton as well.

Everton sit eighth in the table, and new boss Silva has highlighted Walcott's contribution to his side's positive form.

"Not just today but he had a very good game in the last game at home as well," Silva told reporters after the Bournemouth match on Saturday.

"He repeated a good game, a fantastic attitude and it is important that he scored a goal and the red card to Bournemouth is on him as well. He started the free kick for the second goal.

"He is doing very well, he is in a good moment. It is our job to keep him at this level. I am happy with him. I want Theo enjoying his football and he is doing well."

Everton will host Huddersfield Town at Goodison Park in their next league fixture on Saturday.
