Everton boss David Moyes praises his team's attitude as they beat Wigan 2-1 in the Premier League on Boxing Day.

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that he has been impressed with his squad's attitude over the festive period following their 2-1 win over Wigan Athletic.

Leon Osman and Phil Jagielka got the goals at Goodison Park on Boxing Day as the Toffees extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to seven matches.

"I'm happy with how well the players have done over Christmas," Moyes told the club's official website. "They've been really good and had to be again today."

Everton, who have moved up to fourth place in the table with the win, continue their campaign on Sunday with the visit of Chelsea.
