Everton defender Sylvain Distin will reject offers from Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland in order to sign a new contract at Goodison Park, according to reports.
The 35-year-old, who has been one of the Toffees' star performers this season, is free to discuss terms with other clubs with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
Boss David Moyes is yet to offer the Frenchman a new deal, but according to the Daily Mail, Distin is prepared to bide his time and wait for the club to decide his future.
It is understood that QPR and the Black Cats are just two of a number of teams interested in moving for the experienced central defender.
