Roberto Martinez insists Everton have "no need" to sell to survive

Roberto Martinez insists that Everton are in "no need" to sell their best players at the end of the season, following speculation surrounding their futures.

Roberto Martinez has insisted that Everton are in "no need" to sell their players at the end of the season.

The futures of Ross Barkley and John Stones have been the subject of speculation following impressive performances this campaign, but Martinez is confident of keeping his best players.

"The one thing everyone needs to know is that we are not in need of selling players," Martinez told the Liverpool Echo.

Everton's hopes of gaining Champions League qualification took a blow on Saturday, following the 2-0 loss at Southampton.
