Robin van Persie could reportedly re-join Eredivisie side Feyenoord in the January transfer window.
The 34-year-old, who reportedly came close to leaving Turkish side Fenerbahce during the summer, is currently on the sidelines nursing a knee problem.
The Dutchman has scored 36 times during his last two seasons with Fenerbahce, but it is understood that both parties are keen to go their separate ways at the start of 2018.
According to ASKAM, Feyenoord have expressed an interest in signing their former striker, who scored 22 times in 78 appearances for the Dutch outfit before joining Arsenal in the summer of 2004.
Van Persie has scored 248 times during spells at Feyenoord, Arsenal, Manchester United and Fenerbahce, while he has netted 50 times in 101 appearances for the Dutch national team.
