France boss Didier Deschamps hints at Hatem Ben Arfa call

France boss Didier Deschamps hints that Hatem Ben Arfa could form part of his squad for Euro 2016 if the attacker continues performing for Nice.

France boss Didier Deschamps has hinted that Nice attacker Hatem Ben Arfa could yet make his squad for Euro 2016.

The 28-year-old has not represented his country since Euro 2012, but his form for Nice this season has led to claims that he could be involved in the build-up to next summer's showpiece event.

Deschamps has insisted that past matters will not count against Ben Arfa, who has scored seven times in 10 league games this season.

"I did not say no. Why not? My reflection on the issue will come next week based on what he has done with Nice," Deschamps told Eurosport.

Deschamps previously managed Ben Arfa when the pair were at Marseille.
