France manager Laurent Blanc is reportedly expected to learn the extent of his future with the national team this week.
The 46-year-old's status with Les Bleus has been up in the air following the coach's failure to agree a contract extension before Euro 2012, where France were knocked out by Spain in the quarter-finals.
It is understood that Blanc will meet with the French Football Federation on Thursday to make a decision on his tenure with the national side, according to AFP.
The outcome of the meeting could affect Tottenham Hotspur's search for Harry Redknapp's successor as Blanc has been linked with the vacant managerial position.
Despite the Frenchman being a contender, reports have emerged this morning claiming that former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has been offered the job at White Hart Lane.
