Preview: Galatasaray vs. Borussia Dortmund

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's clash between Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund can maintain their 100% record in the Champions League on Wednesday when they travel to Turkey to face Galatasaray.

The Germans are currently at the top of Group D with six points thanks to two wins from their opening two games of the competition.

However, their form in the Bundesliga has been poor this season, with five defeats out of eight leaving them in 14th place in the table.

Meanwhile, hosts Galatasaray head into the match at the bottom of the group after taking just one point from a possible six.

Despite their disappointing start in Europe, Cesare Prandelli's side have won three of their last four games in all competitions and will be eager to improve on that record in midweek.

Gala have no fresh injury concerns, though Blerim Dzemaili and Felipe Melo are both one booking away from being handed a suspension.

Erik Durm is likely to miss out for the visitors after suffering an injury during the warm-up before Saturday's defeat to FC Koln. Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Reus and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are all expected to feature after their recent returns from injury.
