Getafe attacker Diego Castro will miss the next three weeks of the season after suffering a torn hamstring in his side's 3-3 draw with Granada last Friday.

Getafe attacker Diego Castro will be out of action for the next three weeks after suffering a torn hamstring in his side's 3-3 draw with Granada last Friday.

The 31-year-old was withdrawn in the 13th minute of the league clash in Madrid, with initial reports claiming that it was purely a precaution.

However, it has now been revealed that the forward suffered a tear in his hamstring, which will rule him out of key upcoming La Liga matches.

Castro has registered six assists in the league this season.
