Curtis Davies has put an end to speculation surrounding his future with the news that he has signed a new contract at Hull City.
The centre-back's previous deal at the KC Stadium had been due to expire at the end of the season, which is said to have alerted Premier League side Bournemouth.
However, the 31-year-old has now committed to terms that have tied him to Hull until the summer of 2018.
"It's been a long negotiation but I'm happy to have signed. I'm hoping that it will be another two good years," Davies told the club's official website.
"I was always confident that we could get something sorted. Behind the scenes we were working hard with the club. Now we can concentrate with the football."
The former England Under-21 international joined Hull from Birmingham City in 2013.
