Aston Villa are reportedly open to appointing Hull City boss Steve Bruce if Remi Garde leaves his post at the end of the season.
Garde has guided the Villans to just two Premier League victories since replacing Tim Sherwood in November.
The Midlands outfit are currently destined for the Championship as they are rooted to the bottom of the table, nine points from safety with as many games left to play.
According to The Mirror, Bruce, who has been in charge of Hull since 2012, is under consideration for the job should it become available.
Bruce would be a controversial appointment as he spent six years in charge of Villa's arch rivals Birmingham City from 2001.
Garde has been linked with a return to Lyon.
