Thomas Ince has flown out to Italy to open talks with Inter Milan over a possible move to the San Siro this summer.
Ince, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, will be out of contract at parent club Blackpool this summer and has drawn plenty of interest from a number of clubs.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a permanent move to the Premier League, but other European clubs such as Monaco and Benfica are also reportedly interested in him.
However, it now appears that Inter are in pole position to sign the winger as he has flown out to the Italian capital to discuss terms.
Should he complete the move, Ince would follow in the footsteps of his father Paul, who spent two seasons at the San Siro in the 1990s.
