Iekchi Anya's strike gives Watford a 1-0 lead at the break against Ipswich Town.

Watford have gone in at the break 1-0 up against Ipswich Town in the Championship this evening.

Ikechi Anya's 18th-minute strike was enough to send the Hornets in with the lead at Portman Road.

The away side started the brighter of the two sides and went ahead when Troy Deeney's good work allowed Anya to hit a low strike inside the penalty area.

Michael Chopra could have equalised for the home side but his acrobatic overhead was saved by Manuel Almunia.
