Ipswich Town goalkeeper Stephen Henderson has insisted that his teammate Michael Chopra has the ability to play in the Premier League.
The former Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Sunderland striker has been in and out of the Ipswich starting lineup this season as a result off-field problems.
However, having seen the 29-year-old score the only goal of the game against Blackpool at the weekend, Henderson believes that Chopra could flourish in the top flight.
"If you had seen a finish like that in the Premier League then they would have been talking about it all night" Henderson is quoted as saying but the East Anglian Daily Times. "It was a world-class finish and I knew he was going to score as soon as he was put through as he does it every day in training.
"He's a Premier League striker on his day, second-to-none, and I hope he can sort out his personal problems."
Chopra has found the net on five occasions so far this campaign.
