Preview: Ipswich Town vs. Huddersfield Town

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship match between in-form Huddersfield Town and Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town will be attempting to bounce back from their first defeat in nine matches when they host Huddersfield Town in the Championship this weekend.

The Tractor Boys were beaten 3-1 by Cardiff City earlier this week, ending an unbeaten run that stretched back to August, leaving them ninth in the table.

Mick McCarthy has no new injury worries heading into this match, but has called for his players to respond to their defeat in Wales, so could be considering changes to his starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this week's leaves them heading into this meeting with 11 points from their last five matches.

The draw left the team, who have not lost in over a month, 16th in the table, just three points off a place in the top half of the table.

Chris Powell will continue to be without injured forward James Vaughan, but has a fresh Nakhi Wells to call upon after the striker spent the last two matches on the bench.

Ipswich won both of their matches against Huddersfield in the Championship last season.
