Massimiliano Allegri has claimed that Juventus are getting back to their best form after beating Sevilla 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Allegri's men put their disappointing domestic form to one side as last year's beaten finalists preserved their 100% start to Group D, with Alvaro Morata and Simone Zaza netting at the end of both halves in Turin last night.
The Italian has come under fire for the way in which the Bianconeri have begun the defence of their Serie A title, winning five points from a possible 18, but the 48-year-old believes in his own ability.
"I have no stone in my shoe," he told reporters. "I believe in what I do; why should I worry? Over the past five years at Juventus and AC Milan I got good results, thanks to the players.
"Tonight was the first step of a team that has to play at great levels. I was very happy with these guys, who want to grow and manage the game.
"You have to have the strength to hold the game, otherwise you may lose."
Allegri and co, who lost to Barcelona in last season's final, kicked off their group-stage campaign with a 2-1 win at Manchester City.
