Report: Lazio consider Luciano Vietto move

Lazio are interested in signing Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto in this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Lazio are reportedly considering a summer move for Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto.

The Argentine earned himself a move to Atletico last summer after hitting 20 goals in 48 appearances during an impressive first season in Spanish football with Villarreal.

Vietto only managed three goals for the capital club during the 2015-16 season, however, and it is understood that Atletico would be open to a sale this summer.

Celta Vigo, Barcelona and Valencia are all believed to be keen on keeping the 22-year-old in La Liga, but according to Corrierre della Sera, Lazio could attempt to bring the striker to Italian football.

Lazio finished eighth in Serie A during the 2015-16 campaign.
