Leicester City have reportedly held discussions with Serie A runners-up Inter Milan over the potential sale of Caglar Soyuncu this summer.
The 26-year-old enters the final 12 months of his contract at the King Power Stadium in the coming weeks, leading to speculation that the Foxes will look to cash in during the summer transfer window.
Teammate Youri Tielemans is already expected to move on from the East Midlands ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with the Belgian also entering the last year of his current deal, leading to Arsenal heavily linked with a move for the midfielder.
Ahead of a potential exit for Soyuncu, Leicester have met with Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, with the transfer chief having flown in to London to primarily discuss a potential return for Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this summer.
However, Ausilio also enquired over the availability of Soyuncu according to the report, with the Turkey international being a potential replacement for one of Inter's first-choice central defenders.
At least one is expected to leave the San Siro during the transfer window, with Alessandro Bastoni being heavily linked with the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, whilst Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Milan Skriniar.
Soyuncu has made 123 appearances for Leicester across all competitions since joining the club from Freiburg for around £18.5m in 2018.
