Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has indicated that he hopes to be back on the pitch in December after spending three months on the treatment table with a foot injury.
The England international has played just two games this season as he broke a bone in his foot during a training session in August.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently claimed that Henderson is on the verge of returning to training, and the player himself is hopeful that he will be back on the pitch in the next 10 days.
"I've been out for a pretty long time - the longest I've been out for, so hopefully I'm not too far away now," Henderson told Sky Sports News. "I hope [I'm back in the next 10 days]. I'm not sure on a time limit yet, but I hope it's soon."
James Milner, who helped the Reds earn a 4-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday, has been captaining the team in Henderson's absence.
