Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has shared a video of himself being put through his paces on an exercise bike as he works his way back from a serious knee injury.
The Netherlands international has been out of action ever since he was on the receiving end of Jordan Pickford's horror tackle in October's Merseyside derby.
Van Dijk is facing a race to be fit before the end of the 2020-21 campaign, but recovery videos shared by the defender last week gave Liverpool fans cause for optimism.
This week, the 29-year-old was filmed doing sprints on a Watt bike as he steps up his rehabilitation, but whether or not he will be able to take to the pitch again this season remains to be seen.
Liverpool's infirmary also includes Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota, but the champions are still leading the way at the top of the table despite their well-documented injury concerns this season.
Jurgen Klopp's men next face a trip to Newcastle United on Wednesday evening.
