Jurgen Klopp: 'Liverpool must learn from Crystal Palace defeat'

Jurgen Klopp urges his Liverpool squad to learn the lessons of their defeat against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested that his team "have to learn the right things" after their defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace at Anfield.

The Reds, who were unbeaten in 12 matches before facing the Eagles, lost for the first time since Klopp took charge when Liverpudlian Scott Dann netted the winner for the South London side.

However, the German coach has claimed that losing against Palace could turn into a positive if they can tackle their problems.

Klopp is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: "I am satisfied with some moments, but the problem is you have to play for the whole 95 minutes.

"If you are satisfied with 60 minutes of the game then sometimes it is enough. But sometimes it is not, and today it was not. That's a problem.

"It's not a problem to lose a game of football, of course. That happens all the time, but we have to learn the right things. If we learn from this defeat, then it will be a very important defeat."

Liverpool are now 10th in the Premier League.
