Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has stated his intentions to add more goals to his game this season.
The 19-year-old scored nine times last term as the Reds finished second to Manchester City, and the teenager is hoping to improve his goal tally in the current campaign.
In an interview with NBC, Sterling said: "I scored nine goals [last season] and the season before I scored two, so definitely that was a great season for me.
"I got older and mature [last season] and being out the team I knew I had to be on the scoresheet quite regularly if I was to stay in the team, so that's something I'm working and improving on, and it'll benefit me and the team."
Sterling has scored one goal this term.
