Darwin Nunez, James Milner and Nat Phillips all start for Liverpool in Monday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has handed starts to Darwin Nunez, James Milner and Nat Phillips for Monday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

The Reds are seeking to pick up their first three points of the Premier League season but are without numerous injured players for their battle with Patrick Vieira's side.

Roberto Firmino misses tonight's game as a precautionary measure, which has opened the door for Nunez to earn his first Premier League start alongside Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz.

Meanwhile, only Fabinho keeps his place in the midfield from the 2-2 draw with Fulham, with Harvey Elliott and Milner joining the Brazilian in the final third.

Jordan Henderson has been dropped to the bench, where he is joined by the returning Naby Keita, as Thiago Alcantara begins his lengthy spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Further back, Joe Gomez was expected to get the nod alongside Virgil van Dijk, with Ibrahima Konate and Joel Matip absent, but Phillips has been handed the opportunity to impress at Anfield.

Liverpool starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Milner, Elliott; Salah, Nunez, Diaz

Crystal Palace starting lineup: Guaita; Clyne, Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Eze, Doucoure, Schlupp; Ayew, Zaha
