Liverpool closing in on Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic?

Liverpool are reportedly in a strong position to sign Stevan Jovetic from Manchester City this summer for around £16m.

Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a move for Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact at the Etihad Stadium since arriving from Fiorentina for £22m in 2013.

Jovetic scored five goals in 35 appearances for City last season.

Liverpool could now land the Montenegro international for around £16m, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Reds have already signed six new players this summer, including Danny Ings, James Milner and Roberto Firmino.
