Report: Liverpool target £25m Edin Dzeko deal

Edin Dzeko becomes the latest Manchester City striker to be linked with a summer switch to Liverpool.

Liverpool are interested in signing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko this summer, according to reports.

The 29-year-old has struggled to make much of an impact this season and is expected to leave the club at the end of the campaign after four-and-a-half years.

The Daily Mail reports that the Bosnian is on the list of Liverpool's targets and could cost in the region of £25m.

The paper also reports that the Reds have suffered a blow in their quest to sign Dzeko's strike partner Stevan Jovetic.

Reports yesterday had suggested that he was available for around £12m, but it is thought that the figure is closer to £20m.

Dzeko and Jovetic have scored just 11 goals between them this season.
