Liverpool are not currently looking to discuss Roberto Firmino's future at the club, according to a report.

Liverpool reportedly have no plans to discuss Roberto Firmino's future at this moment in time.

The 30-year-old has scored seven times and registered four assists in 18 appearances for the Reds during the 2021-22 campaign, including four goals and three assists in the Premier League.

The Brazil international has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Anfield, though, and there has recently been speculation surrounding his future.

Barcelona are believed to be interested in the forward, who has scored 94 goals and registered 73 assists in 310 appearances for the Reds since arriving from Hoffenheim.

According to Sky Deutschland, Liverpool are not looking to hold discussions with the South American in the near future, with talks scheduled for 'several months down the line'.

Firmino is allegedly leaning towards not signing a new deal with Jurgen Klopp's side, as the attacker looks for a fresh challenge in the latter stages of his career.
