Liverpool have reportedly approached German forward Max Kruse over a potential move to Anfield this summer.
Kruse will be a free agent when his contract with Werder Bremen expires at the end of June.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the 31-year-old, who contributed 12 goals and 14 assists in 36 appearances for Bremen during the 2018-19 campaign.
According to Sport1, Liverpool are amongst the interested parties and the Reds have held talks with the 14-time Germany international to discuss a possible switch to the Premier League.
Kruse has scored 35 times in 94 appearances for Bremen since a 2016 move from Wolfsburg.
Liverpool, who face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final on June 1, are said to be in the market for a new forward this summer to act as back-up to Roberto Firmino.
