Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart reportedly leaves the club's pre-season tour in Hong Kong to complete an £8m move to Hull City.

Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart has reportedly left the club's pre-season tour in Hong Kong to finalise a move to Hull City.

The Merseyside outfit rejected numerous clubs in the January window after the 23-year-old signed a fresh five-year deal in 2016, but it seems that his stay at Anfield is coming to an end.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Stewart has flown back to the UK after the two clubs agreed on an £8m fee.

The midfielder, who joined the Reds from Tottenham Hotspur in 2014, is expected to negotiate personal terms with the Tigers before undergoing a medical.

Stewart has made 20 first-team appearances for Liverpool.
