Pablo Zabaleta has insisted that Manchester City must make an impact in the Champions League next season.
The Citizens entered the competition for the first time last time out but failed to progress beyond the group stages.
However, having won their first league title in 44 years, Argentine defender Zabaleta believes that European success should be the next thing on City's agenda.
"The hard work starts now. We have to keep trying to achieve further success and win more title," said Zabaleta.
"We failed in the Champions League and must do better in that competition."
The 27-year-old joined City in 2008 from Spanish club Espanyol.
