Jesus Navas: 'Tottenham Hotspur game my best for Manchester City'

Jesus Navas says that he is pleased with his performance for Manchester City against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Manchester City winger Jesus Navas believes that his performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday was his best for the club so far this season.

The 28-year-old Spain international scored twice for Manuel Pellegrini's side at the Etihad Stadium as they ran out 6-0 winners in their Premier League clash.

"On a personal level, this was my best game for sure," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "Scoring twice and also claiming an assist.

"I've always been known more for giving assists rather than scoring, but, of course, I enjoy scoring goals too. If I can score more here, then that would be great.

"I like making other people happy. That's why I've always been known for assists, but if I score more, then it helps."

Navas joined City from Sevilla in the summer.
