Barcelona have reportedly decided to increase the release clause in the contract of Sergi Roberto.
During the summer transfer window, Roberto was linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester City said to be interested in his signature.
The 25-year-old has just under two years remaining on his contract but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are keen to improved the player's terms at Camp Nou.
However, the Catalan giants would allegedly like to increase Roberto's release clause to £350m, effectively putting him out of the reach of any admirers at European rivals.
Roberto has been heavily involved this season, making 10 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga and the Champions League.
