Wayne Bridge has been linked with a move to Arsenal after falling out of favour with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
Bridge has only played once this season and Mancini has said that he hopes he leaves in January.
Mancini's strong words come after an alleged training ground bust-up between the pair as a result of the Italian playing Pablo Zabaleta out of position at left-back against Arsenal on Sunday, according to The Mirror.
City are apparently prepared to lend Bridge out in January, with Arsenal being touted as his destination.
The Gunners are looking for a dedicated left-back after Kieran Gibbs suffered a new injury setback and Andre Santos was ruled out for three months with an ankle injury.
Bridge signed for Manchester City in January 2009 for a reported £10m.
